FaithKidz, the Children's Department of Faith Summit Church, is led by Pastor Kim Beckworth.
During our Sunday morning worship services there is solid, healthy and Biblical ministry offered for children ranging in age from birth to sixth grade. The age range is of the individual classes is from infancy to two years, three to five years and from first to sixth grade.
Although the greatest influence of godliness comes from the home, it is imperative for local churches to offer quality ministry to our children. Children's ministry should not be babysitting or entertainment. Children need the influence of the Bible, God's love and Presence as early in their impressionable lives as possible.
There are several great Scriptures that we stand on, speak over and believe for the precious children of Faith Summit Church:
- Isaiah 54:17 - All your children shall be taught by the Lord, and great shall be the peace of your children.
- Psalm 112:1-2 - Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, who delights greatly in His commandments. His descendants will be mighty on earth; the generation of the upright will be blessed.
We pray these Scriptures not only over the children of Faith Summit, but their parents as well. Jesus said in Matthew 19:14 "Let the children come to me. Don't stop them!"
Our mission is to lead these future world changers to Jesus. Although the time in their classes is fun, entertaining and creative, more importantly kids receive the genuine love of God, real Bible ministry and meet new friends. So, while parents are experiencing God in their worship services, so are their children! It is our honor at FaithKidz to serve you and your children.
