Jesus said that we are to be salt and light in the earth. In keeping with our responsibility to be an influence outside the four walls of the church, Faith Summit Church endeavors to follow two key Scriptures:
- To do our part in fulfilling the Great Commission to "go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature". (Mark 16:15).
- To take care of the unsaved, the fatherless and the widow. (Deuteronomy 24:17-21)
Faith Summit has been involved in various outreaches such as systematic feeding programs for families in financial challenges, providing Christmas gifts and school supplies for children who otherwise would have gone without, reaching out to touch the community through arts and media, just to name a few.
Several within our church body minister frequently to those in prisons and to those chained by substance abuse. Faith also is committed to putting the Lord's money where our mouth is! Faith has consistently sown between 15-20% of the total church budget into ministries outside of our four walls!
